More than 30 Years Dedicated to the Maghreb Banking Sector
The Union of Maghreb Banks (UBM) was established on December 7, 1990, at the initiative of the heads of banks from the five Maghreb countries: Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Mauritania. It is a regional, non-profit organization with legal personality and financial independence. Today, it brings together most of the banks and financial institutions in the Maghreb region. Its activities form part of the objectives set by the Arab Maghreb Union. Its main missions are to promote regional cooperation and banking and financial integration through:
