The General Secretariat is the technical and administrative body of the Union. Its headquarters is located in Tunis.
The Secretary General is responsible for implementing the decisions of the General Assembly and the Board of Directors, based on approved action plans and budgets. He represents the Union before third parties and enters into agreements on its behalf in accordance with the applicable regulations.
